2027 Subaru Forester Gas and Hybrid Order Banks Now Open
Subaru has released pricing and specifications for the 2027 Forester Gas and Hybrid, with fleet order banks now open. Subaru has repositioned pricing for the new model year, and supply is expected to be strong for both powertrains. Initial deliveries are anticipated to begin in December.
The Forester is largely carryover for 2027, but the gas Sport, Sport Onyx, and Touring trims have been discontinued. Sport and Touring will now be Hybrid-only, and the Sport Hybrid will no longer feature bronze exterior accents. All 2027 Forester fleet production will be sourced from Indiana.
For fleets ordering the Forester Premium with Option Package 15, the correct fleet code is VFD-15. The identically equipped VFC-15 is reserved for retail and produced in Japan. The $100 participation fee also continues for 2027MY until further notice.

Wholesale Used-Vehicle Values Fall in First Half of September
The Manheim Used Vehicle Value Index fell 1.0% during the first 15 days of September to 206.2 and is now 0.4% below September 2025. This marks the first time in 2026 that the year-over-year comparison has turned negative, as the stronger wholesale pricing seen earlier in the year continues to fade. Non-adjusted values were also down 1.1% from August and from a year ago.
