Ford Sets 2027 Maverick XL Fleet Order Cap
Ford has placed a fleet ordering cap on the 2027 Maverick XL, limiting orders to 50 units per fleet customer. Fleets planning to use the Maverick XL should review their requirements and place orders early to help secure available allocation.
The Maverick XLT and higher trims currently have no fleet ordering cap, providing an alternative for fleets that need more than 50 units.

Ford Invests $2 Billion to Prepare for Fathom EV Production
Ford is investing $2 billion to overhaul its Louisville Assembly Plant in Kentucky for production of the new Fathom midsize electric pickup. The Fathom will be the first vehicle built on Ford’s Universal EV Platform, with prototype production scheduled for early 2027 and customer production later in the year. Preorders are expected to open in early 2027, with a starting MSRP of $28,350 for the standard-range model.
