Dodge has announced that the 2026 Durango will come standard with a 5.7L Hemi V8, replacing the long-running 3.6L “Pentastar” V6 and marking the first time all trims feature V8 power.
The base GT model will deliver 360 horsepower—over 60 more than the outgoing V6—while the R/T trim gains the 6.4L “392” V8 with 475 horsepower, and the top-tier SRT retains the 6.2L supercharged Hellcat V8 with 710 horsepower and 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds.
Priced from $44,590 in the U.S., Dodge calls the GT “the most affordable AWD V8 vehicle in the industry.”
Dealer orders for the GT and SRT Hellcat open this week, with deliveries expected in late 2025, while R/T orders will open later in the year.
