Toyota Opens Limited Ordering Window for 2026 Tacoma, bZ, and RAV4 Plug-In Hybrid
Toyota has confirmed that 2026 Tacoma production remains available for May and June ordering, although several Tacoma SR configurations—including select 4x2 and 4x4 XtraCab and Double Cab models—will not be offered during this ordering cycle. Fleet buyers interested in Tacoma units should review available trims and place orders promptly while production slots remain open.
In addition to the Tacoma, Toyota has opened May 2026 ordering for the bZ battery-electric vehicle and the RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid. Vehicles ordered in May are expected to arrive in September 2026. With limited production availability and lead times extending several months, fleets planning vehicle replacements later this year may want to secure orders early to ensure delivery schedules align with operational needs.

Stellantis Unveils Growth Plan Focused on Affordable Vehicles and Core Truck Brands
Stellantis has announced its new FastLane 2030 strategy, a five-year plan aimed at reversing declining sales and profits through major investments in new products, manufacturing, and technology. The automaker plans to invest nearly $70 billion globally, launch 60 new vehicles, and refresh 50 existing models by 2030. For North America, the focus will be on affordable vehicles, with seven all-new models expected to start below $40,000 and two priced under $30,000. Fleet buyers can also expect continued investment in key brands such as Jeep and Ram, which account for the majority of the company’s U.S. sales.
Used Vehicle Prices Stay Strong as Demand Shifts Toward Affordable and Fuel-Efficient Models
Wholesale used vehicle prices continued to climb in early May, with the Manheim Used Vehicle Value Index rising 3.8% year over year and 0.5% from April on a seasonally adjusted basis. Stronger tax refund activity earlier in the spring helped support dealer demand, while affordability concerns continue pushing buyers toward lower-priced, older vehicles. Models more than eight years old remain some of the strongest-performing segments in the wholesale market.
