Volvo Opens Fleet Ordering for Select 2027 Models
Volvo has officially opened fleet ordering for select 2027 model year vehicles, giving fleet customers early access to several of the brand’s most popular SUVs and EVs. Orders are now being accepted for the MY27 XC90 and XC60 across all trims and powertrains, along with limited availability for the MY27 EX60 in P6 Plus, P6 Ultra, P10 Plus, and P10 Ultra configurations. Due to strong global demand for the EX60, Volvo is asking fleet customers to contact the fleet team directly before placing orders to confirm availability and allocation details.
Volvo also announced that MY26 XC40 ordering has been extended through July 31, 2026, providing fleets with additional time to secure orders for the compact SUV. The company noted that fleet ordering for the highly anticipated EX90 is expected to open soon, with more details to follow.

Powering EV Fleet Performance Through Data and Telematics
As electric vehicles become a larger part of fleet operations, telematics and data analytics are taking on the same importance diesel once held for controlling costs, uptime, and efficiency. Fleet managers can no longer rely on advertised range estimates alone. Instead, real-time data gives them a clearer picture of battery health, charging behavior, vehicle performance, and how drivers and routes affect energy use. That visibility helps fleets make smarter decisions around dispatching, charging infrastructure, maintenance scheduling, and long-term vehicle planning. Fleets that use telematics as part of daily operations can reduce range anxiety, avoid unexpected downtime, and better manage total cost of ownership as EV deployments grow.
Stellantis Unveils Growth Plan Focused on Affordable Vehicles and Core Truck Brands
Stellantis has announced its new FastLane 2030 strategy, a five-year plan aimed at reversing declining sales and profits through major investments in new products, manufacturing, and technology. The automaker plans to invest nearly $70 billion globally, launch 60 new vehicles, and refresh 50 existing models by 2030. For North America, the focus will be on affordable vehicles, with seven all-new models expected to start below $40,000 and two priced under $30,000. Fleet buyers can also expect continued investment in key brands such as Jeep and Ram, which account for the majority of the company’s U.S. sales.
