Nissan is introducing its third-generation e-Power hybrid system in the redesigned 2027 Rogue, giving its best-selling model a hybrid option for the first time in the U.S. The Rogue Hybrid launches in November, followed by the gasoline version next summer. Pricing starts at $37,065 in the U.S. and C$42,845 in Canada, including shipping.

Unlike a traditional hybrid, the Rogue’s wheels are driven entirely by electric motors, while a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine primarily generates electricity. The system produces 225 horsepower, includes standard all-wheel drive, and is expected to deliver 38 mpg combined. Nissan is also emphasizing EV-like acceleration, one-pedal driving, and a quieter cabin.

For fleets, initial availability will be limited. U.S. dealers will initially receive only one or two units, with supply expected to improve as additional trims enter production in early 2027. The combination of improved fuel economy, standard AWD, and no need for external charging could make the Rogue Hybrid an attractive option for fleets looking to reduce fuel consumption without transitioning to a full EV.
