Chevrolet Introduces Redesigned 2027 Silverado with New Engine Options
Chevrolet has announced significant updates to the 2027 Silverado, introducing new powertrain options, enhanced safety technology, and improved interior features. The redesigned pickup will offer an enhanced 2.7L TurboMax engine, an available 3.0L Duramax Turbo-Diesel, and all-new sixth-generation 5.7L and 6.6L V8 engines. All powertrains will be paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
The 2027 Silverado will also feature more than 15 available safety and driver-assistance technologies, a 12.2-inch digital Driver Information Center, and an available Multi-Flex Center Console designed to improve interior functionality.
For fleets, the expanded engine lineup provides additional options for matching vehicle performance to specific operational needs. The new V8 engines and standard 10-speed transmission could influence fuel efficiency, towing capabilities, and overall lifecycle costs. Fleets should evaluate the updated specifications, pricing, and availability as Chevrolet releases additional ordering information.
