Subaru Launches MY27 Fleet Telematics Program with Motorq
Subaru of America is launching a new Fleet Connectivity Program for eligible 2027MY gas and hybrid vehicles in partnership with Motorq. Available data will include odometer, location, tire pressure, malfunction indicators, diagnostic trouble codes, battery voltage, distance to empty, and outside temperature. This information can support maintenance planning, vehicle health monitoring, utilization, and other fleet analytics.
Fleets that want connectivity must select the required accessory codes when the vehicle is originally ordered. The codes cannot be added after the order is placed and are available only on MY27 Commercial Fleet Factory Orders. Subaru recommends codes 1MH ($120 for three years of data transmission) and 1MI ($0 consent to transmit data to Motorq). The three-year term begins when the vehicle arrives at the dealership.
After delivery, FMCs must enroll the vehicles with Motorq, which will separately bill the FMC for managing and sharing the telematics data. The program is limited to telematics-enabled MY27 Subaru gas and hybrid models, with restrictions applying in Massachusetts.
